From the dance company that brought you KNOTTED and has toured Canada and won multiple Pick of the Fringe awards, Broken Rhythms is back to premiere their new work “ON HOLD”.
Creatively and humorously inspired by an 8 hour ‘Hold’ call, this show pokes fun at common wait times along with the anxiety, anger, acquiescence and ultimately mutual support that everyone needs when their lives are put on hold due to various circumstances.
Broken Rhythms is attracting growing enthusiastic audiences in Victoria and across Canada due to their acclaimed performances of “Knotted”, “Chiaro:Scuro”, and “1,000 Pieces of Pi”. Each production has been praised for the compelling choreography, relatable but complex themes, and the unique rhythmical contemporary style that garners rave reviews.
