Head Bobble
After a strong hit the neck continues to move making the head bobble. You can see this move in Broken Rhythms faster works and is a difficult technique to pick up.

Cactus Arms
Arm movement leading from the elbow. This can be done moving the arms up (leading from the elbow) or by bringing the arms down (leading from the elbow). *Contributors offering a donation of $50 or more will receive a donor listing in our 2023/2024 show programs

A staple on any Broken Rhythms show. A tail whip is when you imagine one of your legs is a tail and swoop it in a circle behind you. This can be done standing or on the floor

Complex Cannon Work
A celebration on musicality, individuality and creative aesthetics. Cannons are sometimes used to deconstruct the movement phrase and highlight the contrast of the dance.
